The studio app (iPhone and iPad)
Scanning needs a LiDAR device (iPhone 12 Pro or later Pro models, iPad Pro 2020 or later). On other devices the app still publishes: choose Photograph it for paintings and prints, or Import a USDZ for a model you already have.
Paintings and prints are photographed, not scanned. A 3D scan cannot see the back of a piece hanging on a wall, so the scanner will refuse it. Take one straight-on photo in even light with a little wall showing around every edge, enter the real width and height, and we build the 3D piece for AR in about a minute. The wall is cropped out automatically.
Sculpture and dimensional work: walk all the way around the piece until the ring fills. For large pieces switch on Large piece (freeform). Leave Studio quality on if you can wait a few hours for a higher-detail rebuild; the fast version goes live immediately either way.
Something shows "Needs attention" in your gallery or in Manage: open the piece in Manage to read the reason. Common ones are a scan that only saw one side of the piece, or a photo without dimensions.
Your account
Creating one: apply on the Studio page; a person reads every application. Once approved, create your account there with the same email.
Deleting it: in the app, Profile then Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, every artwork and its 3D files, your collections and share links. Completed purchases stay on record because they are financial records. You can also ask us by email and we will do it for you.
Founding Artists: the first 25 artists to accept the agreement keep 75% of every retail sale for life. Claim a slot in the Studio after signing; the fees page shows how many remain.
Buying and viewing
Viewing a piece in your space needs no app and no account: open the piece on your phone and tap View in your space. On Android, start with the camera pointed at the floor, then raise it to the wall. On iPhone, AR Quick Look opens directly.
Purchases go through Stripe on this site, never inside the app. Original work ships from the artist; shipping details and timing are confirmed by email after checkout. Questions about an order: reply to your receipt or write to hello@.
