Designer Trade Terms

1. The discount

Approved trade accounts receive 15% off the published retail price, applied automatically at checkout. That's the whole mechanism — no codes, no secret price lists, no hidden markup. Retail prices on Gallereality are public to everyone, including your clients; the trade discount is your professional margin, in the open.

2. Who qualifies

Practicing interior designers, decorators, stagers, and architects buying for client projects. Trade status is by application, not self-declaration — the same gatekeeping every showroom uses. We review your practice (business name, portfolio or site, and, where relevant, a resale certificate) and a person approves or declines, usually within two business days.

3. What the discount is for

Client work and your own projects. It is not for resale arbitrage — buying at trade to relist the same piece — and it isn't transferable to other accounts. Artists may opt individual pieces out of trade eligibility; those pieces show no trade price to you.

4. Boards and share links

Private viewing rooms you share with clients show the public retail price — we don't do hidden-price theater, because your client can search the retail price anyway. Purchases made through your share links are attributed to your account from day one. Today that attribution earns you nothing beyond your own records; if we introduce referral commissions later, the history counts.

5. Keeping status

Trade status continues as long as the account is used consistently with these terms. We may revoke it for misuse (with an explanation), and you can relinquish it any time. Revocation never affects completed orders.

6. Boilerplate
